FC Bayern Basketball celebrates the first championship title at SAP Garden// NEWSFC Bayern Basketball was crowned German champion on Thursday evening at SAP Garden. The basketball team is celebrating its first championship in Munich's new landmark.FCBB won the fifth and decisive final game against ratiopharm Ulm 81:77 and is now German champion of the easycreditBBL for the seventh time after 1954, 1955, 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2024. The previous final games ended 67:53 on Tuesday in Ulm, 79:81, 64:79 and 82:66 from Munich's perspective.
Napier voted Finals MVP
The top scorer on Thursday evening in front of 11,200 spectators in the sold-out SAP Garden was Devin Booker with 19 points. The Finals MVP was the American Shabazz Napier in the jersey of FC Bayern Basketball.
