Experience top-level handball in an extraordinary arena
Following a successful debut at the 2025 Handball Super Cup, the event returns to Munich on August 22, 2026. The German champions and DHB Cup winners of the DAIKIN HBL and the Alsco HBF will face off and battle for the first trophy of the new season. In the women’s competition, HSG Blomberg-Lippe and Borussia Dortmund will face off, followed by the men’s match between SC Magdeburg and Füchse Berlin.
Looking Back: A First for the 2025 Handball Super Cup
In front of a record crowd of 10,298 fans, the Handball Super Cup took place for the first time in August 2025 at the sold-out SAP Garden and delivered pure excitement.
In the women’s match, Thüringer HC turned a 3–14 deficit into a 31–30 victory over HSG Blomberg-Lippe after an epic comeback, claiming its fourth title. The men’s match was just as thrilling: After a 31–31 tie at the end of regulation, Füchse Berlin won the game 34–33 against THW Kiel in a penalty shootout, successfully defending their title.
