2027 Handball World Championship at SAP Garden: New Tickets on September 4
Starting Friday (September 4 | 12:00 p.m.), approximately 17,000 additional tickets will be available through the official ticket shop at handball2027.com. The new allocation includes tickets for matches in all preliminary round and main round groups—including a small allocation for the DHB team’s preliminary round matches in Munich.
Already, 75 percent of the tickets for the World Cup in January 2027 have been sold. The fact that more tickets are now becoming available is due, in part, to the fact that some participating nations have not fully utilized their ticket allocations. Anyone who wants to experience the unique World Cup atmosphere at SAP Garden should therefore act quickly.
“Huge Hype Surrounding Tickets”
Due to high demand for match days featuring the German national team, ticket purchases are limited to five tickets per person per match day to ensure fair distribution. Anyone who wants to support the DHB team at the SAP Garden should have the ticket shop open and ready right when sales begin.
“We’re seeing a lot of hype surrounding tickets for all matches at the home World Championship,” says DHB Chairman Mark Schober. “We’re already at 75 percent capacity. This underscores just how much anticipation there is for this World Championship.” We’re looking forward to packed arenas, exciting games, and an outstanding World Cup atmosphere. “We’re pleased that we can once again offer fans who haven’t been able to buy tickets yet another chance to get World Cup tickets,” Schober added.

The 2027 Men’s Handball World Championship will take place in Germany from January 13 to 31, 2027. All information about the tournament, the schedule, and ticket sales is available at handball2027.com.
Tickets are available exclusively through the official ticket shop and eventim.de. The German Handball Federation strongly advises against purchasing tickets through unauthorized platforms.
