This year's participants were Brose Bamberg Baskets, Alba Berlin, EWE Baskets Oldenburg, and the host team, FC Bayern Basketball.
Bamberg Baskets win the cup
On Saturday, the semi-final between FC Bayern Basketball and Bamberg Baskets took place, with the Franconians winning 103-97. In the other semi-final, Alba Berlin beat Baskets Oldenburg 98-78 to become the second team to reach the final.
The Bamberg Baskets won Sunday's final 72-74 shortly before the final buzzer. Demarcus Demonia, who scored the decisive basket to seal the victory, was named MVP.
