The SAP Garden not only stands for professional sport in the arena, which can hold up to 11,500 spectators. The SAP Garden is also home to three ice rinks for leisure and popular sports. In future, up to 2000 athletes and visitors will be able to use the Ice Park daily for ice hockey, public skating and much more.

All set for a cheerful ice season

All ice sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth - whether it's figure skating, ice hockey, short track or simply a relaxing skating lesson. And if you don't have your own skates? No problem, you can hire skates quickly and easily on site from our equipment partner Warrior. Changing rooms with lockers right next to the ice rinks also ensure a comfortable and safe sports and leisure experience.

Events on ice

Catering is of course also provided. Food, snacks and drinks will be available in the kiosk and restaurant. You can also celebrate your company events or a birthday on skates in the SAP Gardens Ice Park. From corporate events to children's parties, everything is possible. Ice options like never before

One of the three ice rinks, known as ‘Rink 1’, is even equipped with a grandstand. This offers space for up to 500 spectators, providing a new home for small to medium-sized ice sports events. There have never been more ice rinks under one roof in Munich, which are also used in close partnership with the City of Munich and above all for talented young skaters. With the SAP Garden and its Ice Park, the Olympic Park will be enriched by a versatile sports venue and icy attraction that offers an incredible number of new and ultra-modern possibilities.
