Getting Here
By Car
The SAP Garden is located in the northern part of the Olympic Park, right off Federal Highway 2R. There is ample parking available on-site at the Parkharfe (3,500 spaces) in front of the Sportarena, which can be reached either via Toni-Merkens-Weg or, if coming from the north, directly via Federal Highway 2R. To get there, enter“Parkharfe” into your GPS.
SAP Garden Address: Toni-Merkens-Weg 4, 80809 Munich
Parking Information: Due to construction on Landshuter Allee, there are restrictions on travel by car until further notice. We recommend using the Georg-Brauchle-Ring to access the Parkharfe.
You can find more information here.
New parking and payment system: The barriers at the exits have been removed. In the future, vehicles will be automatically registered via license plate recognition at the entrance, in compliance with data protection regulations. This means that upon exiting, no ticket is required and there is no need to stop at a barrier. A total of seven self-service payment kiosks are available for cashless payments. Alternatively, the parking fee can be paid online via Arivo Pay. Further information can be found here.
Please note that the parking garage is managed and operated by the Bavarian Red Cross (Munich District Association). For prompt assistance with inquiries or feedback regarding the parking situation, please contact the BRK directly.

Using the MVV
We recommend traveling to and from major events by subway. You can also reach the SAP Garden by bus and streetcar.
Subway station: Gern (U1/U7)
Tram stop: Olympiapark West (Tram 20 & 21)
Bus stop: Toni-Merkens-Weg (Bus 144 – Note: This line operates until 8:00 p.m.)
By Bike
There are 600 bike parking spaces available free of charge on the stadium grounds. For rented e-scooters and e-bikes, there are two designated parking areas in the Olympiapark. This is intended to help organize parking and keep sidewalks clear:
•
In the east: Spiridon-Louis-Ring at the corner of Lerchenauer Straße, in the parking lot of the Olympia Action Sports Center
•
In the west: Toni-Merkens-Weg, directly at the SAP Garden at the southwest entrance
Please use only the designated areas for parking e-scooters and e-bikes. Also, be sure not to block passageways, driveways, or paths. Look for the appropriate signage on site. You can find more information here.
