SAP Garden: Red Bull League of Its Own in pictures
What Michael Jordan is to basketball, Michael Schumacher to racing, and Wayne Gretzky to ice hockey, Lee Sang-hyeok – aka “Faker” – is to e-sports. The four-time League of Legends world champion graced the SAP Garden with his team “T1” on Saturday, sending fans into raptures with his performances.
In addition to the world-class team from South Korea, two teams from Germany, “NNO Old” and “G2 Esports,” were also represented. “Los Ratones” and “Karmine Corp” rounded out the lineup for the six matches played. The entertainment elements are likely to remain most memorable from this high-caliber tournament.
Unique mix amazes SAP Garden
Although the teams played outstanding matches, it was above all the appeal of different game modes, daring plays and strategies, and show performances that made the “Red Bull League of Its Own” a unique experience. The spectacular entrance of “Faker” and the streamer team “NNO Old,” accompanied by a Bavarian brass band, combined with the continuous light show to create a spectacle at SAP Garden that amazed even spectators less familiar with gaming.
